We are in a generation where everyone is busy chasing after platforms, seeking recognition, validation, and opportunities to be seen or heard. Too many gifted, anointed, and visionary individuals are running from place to place, hoping someone will hand them a mic, give them a stage, or open a door for them.
But here's the truth: You weren't created to beg for opportunities. You were created to be an opportunity. You weren't anointed to compete for seats at someone else's table; you were anointed to build a table where others can eat, grow, and thrive.
"Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins and will raise up the age-old foundations; you will be called Repairer of Broken Walls, Restorer of Streets with Dwellings."
— Isaiah 58:12 (NIV)
This is the calling of a platform builder. God raises up people not to sit in comfort, but to rebuild, restore, and raise others. Your life becomes a platform. Your obedience becomes someone's breakthrough. Your faithfulness becomes the launchpad for someone else's destiny.
I have discovered that what the Lord has called me to do is to create platforms. And now, I can boldly say: That's exactly what God is doing through me today. Every step, every sacrifice, every moment of obedience is being used to create spaces for others to thrive, grow, and encounter God.
"And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing."
— Genesis 12:2 (KJV)
God didn't bless Abraham just so he could be famous; He blessed him so he could be a blessing. In the same way, God doesn't elevate you to platforms for self-glory but to create opportunities for others.
"You are the light of the world, like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden… let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father."
— Matthew 5:14-16 (NLT)
You are not the spotlight; you are the light. When God calls you to create platforms, He's asking you to shine so others can see their potential.
"And what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also."
— 2 Timothy 2:2 (ESV)
Paul didn't just chase the ministry stages, he built leaders. That's what creating a platform looks like: multiplying influence through others.
The Kingdom of God needs builders, not just performers. We need creators, not just consumers. People who say, "Lord, use me to make room for others."
In this season, I realize more than ever that my calling is not to wait to be noticed but to notice others. Not to fight for space but to make space. God is using my obedience to lay foundations others can stand on.
If you're reading this today, I believe this is your reminder too:
Stop chasing after platforms.
Stop trying to fit into places God never assigned you.
Start building what God gave you.
Start being a voice that raises others.
Create an environment where others can encounter their purpose.
Let your life say:
"I didn't chase the spotlight. I became a light. I didn't beg for a chance. I created a change. I didn't run after platforms. I built one by the grace of God."
Be the platform.
Be the builder.
Be the space where others rise.
So today, shift your focus. Stop chasing stages and start building spaces. Spaces for growth. Spaces for healing. Spaces for leadership. Spaces where God's glory can rest and people can be empowered.
"Lord, make me a builder of platforms not for fame, but for impact. Help me create spaces where Your presence dwells, where people are healed, empowered, and released into purpose. I yield to Your call to not chase what the world chases, but to build what Heaven commands, in Jesus' name, Amen."
